    Very difficult to put on - the heel strap is not flexible.

    The length and width of these shoes was just right and they are comfortable to wear. The problem for me was that they were very difficult to put on as the opening is narrow and the strap on the back is not flexible at all (should be elastic or adjustable). Had to go back as I didn't want to struggle to get the strap on my heel every time.

    Step a little better in my rating

    These are the most comfortable shoes I have. I have a form of plantar fasciitis and my legs hurt all the time. When I wear xero shoes it doesn't hurt that much. Think about wearing something to taekwondo class! Thanks

    Super cool looking beach shoes, though.

    ...they are so difficult to put on and take off that it's not worth the effort. I like the look and the idea but they are very tight and very difficult to put on. I have really BIG feet but I bought the size I usually wear and I don't think they are even made in a larger size. When I think about how much I paid for them, I would happily go with much cheaper shoes. . I would recommend looking elsewhere for water shoes.

    The perfect durable sandal for everything

    For years I've worn another brand's sandals in a similar style (known for their rubber toe guard) but they've always had chunky soles, low heels, and shaped arches. Finally, Xero shoes made a durable sandal that I want as a set, Cloud, and Z-Trail). Everything about it is exactly what I want and need in a more durable sandal that I can do anything in.     Paper thin without support

    However, the fit was good, the soles were paper thin. I get everything under my shoes. Wore them in the pool and felt the cracks in the tiles on the floor. Shoes were worse than barefoot. I will no longer wear these shoes.

    They collect stones

    Like the shoes. The only problem is that they pick up small stones because the heel is open. If you don't want to wear them in the water, get a heeled version.

    Wide shoes fit like a glove. So I can wear shoes with a width of 10.5 instead of 11. These are the only shoes I have worn since receiving them (end of week 3).

    The best shandals ever made

    My husband doesn't like going barefoot, but he LOVES the Colorado sandals because they stay in place no matter what he's doing in the water and the Colorados are easy to put on. I love that they don't stink when wet! I'm so glad they fit the bill because they're better than the heavy expensive heavy sandals he wore. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys water sports (fishing, walking in the rain or on wet terrain, walking on wet grass). The Colorado stays in place and your foot doesn't slip…

    A bit tight for wide feet, but doable

    A bit tight for sandals imho, but I have incredibly wide feet and it's nice to have shoes that don't look like duck feet for a change :-) I removed the lace closures and replaced them for wide feet to ease the tension, and now they fit like a glove.

    Great shoes. - my new rating

    I was very happy when the Colorado came out. I have several pairs of Xero shoes but they are all good for running and fitness. Now that I live in Texas and wear shorts most of the year, it was great to have sandals to wear on the go. I love the extra protection they give my toes while still giving me a barefoot feel. take the boot. You will not be disappointed.

    I'm old and fat... (70.5'8", 225 lbs) I've had several Xero products. These sandals are my favorite. I think the sole has the right texture because I compare to other sandals , including the Xero, don't feel any gravel at all. also the sole wears very well! Still, if anyone wants to try sandals, I recommend these sandals. Xero reviews usually recommend buying a size up from your usual size. there's no harm I decided to buy them 1 size up and hopefully you can decide for yourself when you order…

    Favorite shoes forever!

    I've been wearing them to work every day for a year, walking/standing on my feet all day. Comfortable, light weight. And they're barely wearing, still in great shape. Unfortunately, they are no longer produced, so if you like the minimalist shoes and the rest of the sizes fit you, I recommend buying them!

    Shows all your walking problems

    My weight is shifting to one side of the foot, so I noticed my heel pain lessened a little when I realized my left buttock wasn't working as hard as my right cheek when I took a step. Going barefoot is the first step (no pun intended) to posture and pain relief, but it's definitely not the last.

    Great water sandals but NO water "slippers "

    I love the concept of water boots - I wear them on cruise ships, row boats, snorkel catamarans and water resorts. They open up beaches that would otherwise be too hot or too rocky to use. So I have "sneaker shape", "slipper shape" and now, thanks to Xeroshoes, "sandal shape". All have relatively thin soles, but only the Xero has a non-progressive sole, which is its hallmark.
