Mighty beast!

What I like: - POWERFUL engine! - Easily fits into the interior; many options - SUPER quiet! - Great filters! - FILTER OPTIONS! 1, 2 or 3 separate sections that you can fill with sponge, charcoal or bio balls. What I don't like: - The lid is difficult to remove from the lid to clean it. The other two are pretty easy, but for some reason the top one is hard to handle, and when it's slimy from being in the tank it can be a real pain in the ass. But. I run this babe with a different sponge filter…

Review Updated - Filter

I bought this in January 2020 and as of today it's officially dead. The returns window is closed of course. I would have thought it lasted over 2 months as it was scrupulously cleaned 2 times a week. So 5 stars is now 2 stars because it only worked for 2 months. ------------------------------- -- - ---------------- --------------------------------- -- - --------------- --------------------------------- I said this filter for our 65 gallon aquarium as an additional filter to the existing one…

SO HAPPY I MADE IT! - Filter

I read all the reviews and watched the video where the guy threw bombs in every set and told everyone not to buy that crap! I'm so glad I disobeyed and bought this machine anyway. It was easy to assemble and install, after plugging it in and running it for just a few hours I could see plants growing in the center of my 135 gallon discus tank. After 12 hours I saw plants at the back of the aquarium. After two days the aquarium was crystal clear and I could see the background landscape that I had

I'm not sure I can recommend this filter.

I've had this filter for a little over a month now and I really miss the instructions. I have an extra piece and I don't know where to put it. Maybe it would have worked better if I had known. I started with 3 filters in cameras. The only chamber that even remotely collects debris is the top one. If it sucked up dirt from the bottom of the device, I would expect the bottom to be the dirtiest and the middle and top to be the cleanest. The charcoal is in the connecting tube and there is no…

Beyond expectations!

I have an 80 gallon aquarium for two red eared turtles. I've gone through 3 filters in the last 2 years to keep up with their mess. And everyone after 4-6 months just died from me. I've spent a total of over 200.00 on brands like Marineland and Aquatech. I actually thought about getting rid of them because with my back and my four kids I just couldn't handle all the aquarium cleaning...this is ridiculous. I've seen this filter in lightning stores for just over $20 and was skeptical. Several…

From swamp to clear water

Before buying the XpertMatic aquarium filter, I studied many other filters and chose this one for several reasons: good price and the ability to buy a reusable filter cartridge. which in turn helps the environment! This aquarium filter is removable. Depending on the height of the aquarium, you can use 1-3 filter boxes. In addition, it is easy to set up with a submersible motor. In addition, it is very easy to assemble and disassemble, it can be used horizontally or vertically, we placed it in…
