Received very quickly. I kind of lost my remote and couldn't find it at all, so the trusty Amazon came along and now in a couple of days I'll have a new remote. Batteries are not included, but as long as it's a compatible remote, you literally just pop in the batteries and it's paired! No instructions or settings.

Bought this as a replacement remote for my Vizio. It was great at first but now just 2 months later the buttons don't work and it depends on usage. I'm the only one using it and it has never been damaged. The back cover is also difficult to remove and close, but this is most likely due to the design. At least disappointing...

Exactly what we needed, no real setup required. I just put the batteries in and it was ready to go, turning on the TV without having to enter any codes or anything. I don't like that the back cover is VERY easy to remove. It falls to the ground and immediately pops out with a battery or two. A serious safety issue when you have a toddler.

I ordered this to replace our Vizio TV. Judging by the feedback no programming was required but what we received didn't work and the manual isn't included. So after a lot of research, YouTube, and customer support, there's not much you can do to get it working if it doesn't come out of the box. Very disappointed as our TV was listed as one of the models it was designed for.

Upgrade Overall: Had to buy again as kids lost the previous one not even a month later. The new one sent looks much cheaper. Not a fan of that. In general, it is similar to the original controls, but with a different button. The first day didn't go so well. We turned off the TV and unplugged the cables. It seems to have worked. Now he has no more problems.

I love that it has a dedicated button for the apps I use the most and it would be perfect if there wasn't a problem. The remote takes so long to respond to button presses that you have to press harder and harder. You also have to move around the room to find the best angle, but I don't think there is one. I think this remote just has a really bad IR signal because it was the same problem I had with the stock remote. It's a shame it wasn't just a minor issue because otherwise this remote control

Lost my remote somewhere. I used a smartphone app to control the TV which worked well but not in the most convenient way. Then, without thinking, I reset my TV because of an update issue. With no remote control and no way to connect the app because you need a remote control to set up WiFi my TV was completely useless! This remote control is perfect and very good value. I lost mine and finally decided to buy another one. Fast delivery. This is a real Vizio remote control. The only reason I didn't give five stars was because there is a really stupid sticker on the bottom of the remote that doesn't peel cleanly and leaves sticky paper marks. Small annoyance but enough to deduct a star. Still very worth buying.

*****Update***** Change this to 1 star. This remote control died after about 5 months of use. I thought it was the batteries but it doesn't work. Disappointing Overall the remote seems great. One difference is that the original remote came with colored buttons while the replacement came with black buttons that were painted over. Worry about the durability of the color compared to colored buttons. Also, the number "3" on my replacement remote was reversed.
