Blades don't last long

Used them to remove grout in the bathroom. The blades don't last very long, but right out of the box they work fine for about 10 minutes and then they just stop removing grout. For a small bath you need about 20-30 minutes.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Hardly ever

Good blade depending on the type of grout to be removed

Good blade depending on the type of grout to be removed. I removed grout on the shower floor. It was very tough and the only thing that could remove it was diamond coated blades. These blades worked, but dulled fairly quickly. As the price was good for the number of blades I was able to get the job done.

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Great value for money

I have used these to remove grout from bathroom tile they work well and are as durable as other blades I have used so excellent value for money. Tip for ANY of these blades to last longer: Use a slower speed and DO NOT press hard, let the wiggle do the work. If you press harder, the blades will heat up and the diamond grit will shift. Squeeze lightly, let it last a little longer, and you'll get a lot more life out of your blades.

Absolutely perfect for power tool parts and accessories

I use one of my oscillating tools a lot for homework. I had to sink the hardieboard and also remove some paint from the plywood. This blade worked great. I was very surprised how durable it is. I have finished my work and after cleaning the blade with a wire brush it is like new. As there were 8 pieces in the package I gave one to a neighbor who is a carpenter and often uses an oscillating tool. The real deal and easy to have. Much better than standard carbide blade.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

Good value for money Oscillating tool accessory

Over the years I have used many types of gouging blades. I recently had a 200 square foot tile floor that was installed 2 years ago but never rubbed down. I only needed 2 blades to get all the hooks out of the tile joints. The shape allows for better control of the tool and doesn't mark other tiles at intersections. Also have close walls cleaned up without wall markings. You can rotate the blade to touch each side of the grout without chipping the tile or leaving marks. Very happy.

Pros
  • a handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

Not durable at all for power tool parts and accessories

I bought these to cut precise holes in a plastered wall for repairs. (Plaster, cement mortar, concrete, and mortar are very similar materials in terms of the way they wear down the blades.) "Diamond" grit, if it's a real diamond, can adhere well to the edges , but the grit on the edge, which is the only bit that can be cut, wears out very quickly. It doesn't seem to matter what speed or pressure is applied to the oscillating tool. I've actually had better luck with branded carbide blades thanโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Not sure
