Good idea but bad choice of stone. Some of the very odd shaped stones contained nothing like the lovely round stones in the photo which would make lovely lanterns, skulls etc. My 4 year old little girl loved it though, so that's all that really matters.

Includes everything you need to paint rocks. The paint is good and everything. stones however. they need some work. Many of them were so small that they were not suitable for drawing. There were maybe 4 round and flat. The rest were mostly pebbles. We went out and found stones that were better than the ones in the box.

contains small stones, paint, 1 brush, sponge, stickers and some googly eyes (which are missing). I suggest taking some extra cool shaped beach rocks and cleaning them up. We've found that flat bouncy bricks work best. Oh, and the glowing color doesn't seem to glow, but we still had fun! A good half hour or so of the project if you have enough bricks.

Brushes, stickers, stones and accessories are just great! Color is fine when drawing a picture on paper but when it comes to stone it is applied transparently so the colors are not solid and if you have OCD like me you want white or purple to be solid , you don't want that to be able to see the rock like in the picture on the box. I would recommend going to Michaels and getting supplies, paint and a mod to seal it up.

I would recommend it more for young children and just for fun. The bricks are very small and not even shaped so you can't draw anything nice on them and the color isn't the best quality, but younger kids will definitely enjoy making these bricks, especially if they use them as Hide goodness stones. The paint isn't waterproof, so you'll need to buy a waterproof spray if you're hiding outside. It will be a cool party for younger kids or even a good hobby for older folks.

I was looking for a good art project for my kids. They liked to paint them and hide them on the paths for others to find the "treasure". Unfortunately, this set did not live up to our expectations. I was a bit disappointed with the stones they provided. I was expecting slightly larger, flatter surfaces to paint on (I'm buying a kit, after all). I ordered 2 for a family craft night. There were 10 bricks in one box and only 5 of the 10 that were supposed to be in the set in the other. And the stones I received were tiny. So not everyone could participate, that was very disappointing. Of course I don't get a refund because we used up 5 bricks if we didn't have more people we would have to sit around.
