Now I know what "micro-grain carbide " is!

Micro-grain should match the thickness of the carbide coating on the cutting edge. tear off pieces. At first I thought it was the grain of the wood so I flipped the shank to route the other way and the pull out was even worse. So I stopped, ordered a Freud bit (next day delivery! yes, Revain) and it worked great on all 60ft of stock. No burn marks, no abrasions. I even reworked the torn piece and it improved the finish. Lesson: Don't buy beats from China. Stick with real carbide. I gave this an

Beyond Surprised Edge & Groove Router

When I first got these router bits I was a bit disappointed with their looks. They're not impressive in the way they're packaged, and the metalwork isn't the highest quality I've seen. But still I wanted to see how it cuts. So I immediately went to my workshop and got to work. To be honest I was shocked at how well they did it. Cheap bearings and poor balance

I needed a small radius drill to smooth the edges of about 250 feet of screen strips. The cost of this kit was about the same as an average quality bit, so I decided to give it a try.
