EXCELLENT!: Calipers

Never thought I'd say this, but this caliper beats a Starrett any day. It reads up to FOUR digits to the right of the decimal point and is in millimeters, inches AND fractions. It has a locking screw and a knurled wheel. Mine doesn't sit around so it doesn't get damaged, it goes back in the box and back on my desk after each use. The best caliper I've ever had.

Dead on arrival, no case

I used to have good experiences with similar looking cheap calipers but not this time. What I received is the same at first glance but poorly assembled: the plastic parts do not quite fit together and have significant play, it also came in a box instead of a case and most importantly it doesn't work. As you move the dial across the ruler, the measurements will oscillate between -999 and 999mm for a few seconds, until they randomly stop at a wild value that has nothing to do with their actual…

Cheap and efficient. I use this to send trading cards.

I have had several returned packages from the post office saying my package was too thick and I needed a non-machinable stamp. I could swear the package was less than 0.25 inches thick. I do not think so. So I ordered these and since then there have been no returns and I'm saving money by not having to buy a raw die at 20-30 cents a pack. This little tool has literally saved me hundreds. If you want something really precise, go for stainless steel as it's close to perfection. For basic stuff…
