Easy setup + user friendly = great product

My VOIP hosting provider is familiar with Yealink's T4x range and had a guide on how to set up basic functions in just a few minutes. Even without the manual, the configuration portal is basic and I easily found additional features that may help in the future after the initial setup. Sound quality is excellent, and no complaints about microphone clarity. Excellent sound quality, quick installation and start-up

After I almost lost a customer because we couldn't make a call, I decided to switch to this SIP phone. It is great! Call quality is excellent and there are plenty of codecs to choose from, including Opus. Latency is low. Setup was easy. I connected it to a PoE switch. It turned on and immediately picked up an IP from DHCP. I just logged into the web interface from there and entered my credentials. Very good, not great. Spend a little more to get more programmable buttons.

Yealink makes great phones. We have hundreds of them scattered in different offices around the country and we really like them. They're well made, have great sound and are very easy to set up, especially when compared to Cisco, Polycom and Snom phones. My only issue with this particular model is that it doesn't have enough programmable buttons for the price. For a few dollars you can get a Yealink phone with 8 or 10 programmable buttons.
