Badly cut. - Milling Cutter

This milling cutter was a waste of money. The first time I used it I set the depth to 1/4" and used it on Red Cedar. This burned the wood and made it very difficult to move the router while I was routing. It seemed very tedious. I adjusted the depth to cut less deep and it still burned and still had trouble cutting. The 90 degree side behaved the same but didn't burn it just seemed very weak quality bit should go.

Pros
  • Fine grit, high quality C3 hard tungsten carbide for heavy duty, industrial grade tools
Cons
  • Only available in black

Worst (stupid) cutter ever

This is by far the worst (stupid?) cutter I have ever bought. I've been carving for over 15 years. When I tried to have the router cut into the wood, it never entered the wood! I kept looking at the base of the router and thought there was something on it to keep the router from cutting into the wood. But that was because the router bit was so dumb! Unbelievable! He only burned wood (see photo). When I took it out of the box it was a shiny new piece. Maybe that was it. Yonico was the lowest…

Pros
  • Ideal for cutting V-grooves, CNC lettering and signs
Cons
  • old

Quality at an affordable price

I was hesitant to buy this bit because of the 1 star reviews. I bit the bullet and took a chance. The bit comes very well packaged, not just a small zip bag. I cut at a 60 degree angle. side on a piece of pine/spruce and the result was clean. The carving edges were sharp and needed no additional cleaning. The edges still seem sharp, but only time will tell how well/long this attachment will hold up. Please note that the 1 star reviews are from 2015 and all relatively recent reviews say this is…

Pros
  • Highly polished solid carbide shank for precision and precision
Cons
  • Slightly dented
