🔩 Yonico 2 Flute Upcut Spiral End Mill CNC Router Bit: 1/2" Diameter, 2" Length, 1/2" Shank - High Performance Woodworking Tool Review

Doing the same work with aluminum I blunted two of these 1/8" end mills at conservative feed and speed (0.7mm DOC) / 700mm. They hold up well on wood but they also burn and dull quickly. Other end mills like Frued, I've had more aggressive cuts (1.5-1.6mm Doc) and the bits do a great job.

The bit looked great but broke pretty quickly. I cut through fairly thick hardwood so I can't give a bad review. I probably used a 1/4" bit over the edge, but then again I haven't broken another bit before or so quickly. I'll try some more Yonico beats because of the price, but as they keep slowing down it's going to be cheaper to buy expensive beats.

I've been using it for cutting box joints for the past few days. Even though the wood I'm cutting is pine I haven't had any problems. So far, more than 400 individual cuts have been made. , the club is still sharp and not burned. It has already paid off. I may have to cut hardwoods soon, that will be a test for this bit. If it ever gets boring, I'll buy it again.

This nozzle did a great job on aluminum. However, it wasn't as sharp as the Amana bits I have. I decided to try this cheaper beat to see how it compares to my Amana and Whiteside beats. It was good but I still prefer Amana over Whiteside for the aluminum cut quality. I would recommend this drill bit as a cheaper alternative to the Amana as I also expect a slightly poorer cut quality.

I needed a PVC cutter in a Dewalt router and after some searching I settled on the Yonico 31215-SC. I've noticed a few router bits made specifically for plastic but have been advised not to use them in a manual router as they only have one cutting edge/groove and are ideal for CNC machines.
