Yost 10003R 3D QR Quick Release Review

This industrial workholding tool disappointed me greatly. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice i found that this tool is poorly made and not worth the investment. The release mechanism is not smooth and occasionally gets stuck. The only pro of the tool is that it is compact, making it easy to store in tight spaces .However, the cons far outweigh the benefits of this tool, especially considering the price. This vise is heavy enough for a medium sized drill. I'm so glad I went with the more expensive, high-end vise. Quick Release is awesome, so simple and so effective. Goes from a fully closed position to a maximum opening of 6-1/4" in literally a second. It pulls securely with no play. I am very impressed with the quality of these vices.
