Efficient Optical Drive for Computers

This external optical drive is a game-changer! The YP Rewriter External Burner Superdrive speeds up my work process since I'm not limited to my computer's internal drive. Plus, the sleek design matches my laptop aesthetic and is easy to use .However, the only downside is it requires an extra power cord making it less portable. Overall, I highly recommend this drive for anyone looking for an efficient and reliable external drive for their computers..

CRAPPY - IT ate my drive

First, when you plug it into a USB-C port, it doesn't start. You have to plug in the USB 3.0 adapter and then plug it in, which isn't possible with a new MacBook. Once I got it working I put my drive in and it worked fine for 2 minutes until it hung and I couldn't get my drive out. There is no emergency eject button or any other eject button so I cannot eject my drive. I do NOT recommend.
