Carbide Burr

I have used this tool on a carbide burr and it works very well. I think I need a better air tool to use this long reach drill tool as my air tool is not very good and hard to control when cutting.

Not very good. for cutting tools

I couldn't use it for its intended purpose. There was over 0.010 inches of runout and it felt like it had a ridge down the center of the shank. The carbide bit section was actually 2 smaller pieces of carbide brazed to a steel shank, not one solid piece of carbide brazed to steel.

Unbalanced oscillation on cutting tools

Haven't even used it yet. I fully inserted it into my roto tool and tightened it. Plugged it in and immediately started shaking. I've ported several cylinder heads and this has only happened once, and only when the 6" bit hit an odd edge at full speed and the cutter popped out. This bit needs a stronger shaft. This is dangerous. To return.

In case you need to drill something!

That's cool. I needed it and I don't even have a Dremel which is the shortest version. It had a hollow mount at the end of the tube that had to be drilled out a bit because the manufacturer's specs had changed. Basically, I had to cut out the inside of the cast metal cap by a hair's breadth so I could mount various parts that used to fit. Worked great on an electric drill at full speed. Nothing broke or bent from overheating, although I could see it if I wasn't careful. Used it for a few…
