Be careful when buying. It says it fits 5 gallon and larger Craftsman vacuums, but it doesn't. According to the description it is suitable for a shop vacuum cleaner 125.12004, but it is not.

Not much can be written about the vacuum filter because it is very easy to install. The last filter I had was similar and kept falling off. This one seems stronger and the screw seems more secure. Time will tell because I've only used it once since installing it.

I have an 8 gallon 3.25hp vacuum which the manual says requires part 9-17816. However, this particular filter didn't work because it had a cap attached with a small hole as part of the filter. I want one that is open at the top and can wear my detachable cap instead. I contacted their support team and they were very polite and willing to accept returns. (2 stars for good customer service) However, before ordering, be aware of the type of filter you have.

The filter orifice is 1/8 inch smaller than the vacuum head. Therefore it is too tight and does not fit the vacuum cleaner. This was a big disappointment as the Craftsman filter has been discontinued. This was the product recommended by Revain. The seller contacted me through Revain and refunded the price of the item. I was satisfied with the communication with the seller to solve the problem.
