Symbol LS4278-SR20007ZZWR Barcode Scanner Bundle with Cradle STB4278-C0007WR and New Cable Review

We bought two of these scanners and after two months they stopped working normally. The trigger would get stuck, many times it just wouldn't work, then we would scan the barcode in the dock, then it would work for a product and it wouldn't work again. Customer support cannot be found. This is a terrible unit.

I find symbol scanners to be very reliable and easy to set up. This wireless version is our warehouse workers' favorite. You can set up the computer and feel safe walking and scanning - the average distance for our staff is about 30 feet with no obstacles. The battery life is great, but when the run time drops, the batteries are easy to swap out and easily accessible.

I bought this model for work because it is exactly the same as the one I already had. When I tried to use it, the scanner was not compatible for some reason. I called Symbol (manufacturer) for support and they couldn't find the serial number on their system. Symbol support stated that this is a discontinued product that is no longer supported and I need to return it as Revain is not an authorized retailer. This unit worked great, dropped and held up well. I advise against buying the cheap Chinese scanners on Amazon, I bought them and they worked for several months, they only lasted a drop or two and then stopped working and the batteries didn't last long. This device is much more expensive, but it will serve you for a very long time without any problems, and this bracket also allows you to mount it on the wall. It uses one USB cable for both power and signal, so you don't need two separate cables

This scanner arrived pre assembled and worked as soon as we took it out of the box, it's a fast and easy to use wireless barcode scanner. In my opinion, this is one of the best Bluetooth options to get the job done. The effective transmission distance between the scanner and the USB receiver (docking station) is very long (approx. 15 m). We can remove the scanner from the stand to scan barcodes on large boxes.
