It is like silk. The design is beautiful and so soft. My face wasn't as irritated when I slept in the morning or evening. I've noticed fewer breakouts. Also, I have curly hair and I slept on this pillow with my hair loose. Aside from the hot weather drying out my hair, sleeping with this pillowcase hasn't hurt me. Great purchase and no regrets.

Such a lovely pillowcase, I look forward to sleeping even more! I almost wish I could find a set of sheets to match, but that might be too much. Low maintenance and low maintenance for my hair and wrinkles, I mean face :) Really, it cannot be overstated how gorgeous this pattern is. Actually, I think I might buy some navy blue sheets to show off my pillowcase! Highly recommended!

I have very fine hair. It's so beautiful that just turning your head in your sleep creates an ugly mess of split ends. The person who does my hair suggested using a silk pillowcase. I buy silk covers on both sides so I can flip and fluff the pillow without worrying about my right side. They are more expensive but worth it. I wash them normally and then dry them.

I was skeptical about the silk pillow phenomenon but I have to say it has helped my hair. I have very fine dry shoulder length hair and my sheets are dark so I see hair falling out when I sleep and after using the pillowcase I definitely see a hair reduction but time will tell if that helps my skin though it's definitely softer than my other pillowcases I've used.
