Zinsser 98005 1 Inch Seam Roller Review

We use these in our post office. Very useful for flattening envelopes with multiple spreads/three spreads. Whatever works, right? 👍

You get what you pay for. We bought this to cover a small kitchen (about 88 square feet of wallpaper) and it broke about halfway through our project. Clearly disposable. Would recommend a better quality video if you have a larger project.

The roller fell off after about 5 minutes of light use resealing wallpaper. My workaround was to put a tie clip on the center piece to hold the roller just to finish the small job I bought the roller for. Don't buy this, it's completely useless.

Can be used. I wish the roller wasn't hard plastic but softer rubber or foam. If you accidentally tip the roll, you may leave marks on the wallpaper. So make sure to apply even pressure. Besides, it works. It is cheap and good if you only wallpaper a few walls.

Only 5 minutes with this device if you want to call it that there was a little plastic granola lip on the wheel to hold it of the tool was worn out intact after 5 minutes of normal use and the wheel fell off the roller and the tool became completely unusable

I am a diamond painter and this is perfect for pushing down drill sections the way I do. I have one of these somewhere, but it was easier to just buy a new one than to find one! I bought one for myself and this order was for a friend who also does diamond painting so I surprised her that it works GREAT on stone pressing.

I requested a cancellation but this product was shipped anyway and I was able to use it. I haven't had the problem others have of the reel popping out of the metal bar or the plastic tabs breaking causing the reel to pop out. I've only used it once to fix a hole in my linoleum floor. I use gorilla glue and use a roller, everything works for me.

Based on other reviews I knew I was taking a chance ordering this. But wallpaper materials are not easy to find and they were cheap, so I decided to give it a try. I only rolled up two seams of wallpaper before the roll fell off. With so many bad reviews you would think they would come up with a solution. Or Revain will stop selling. This is the record for the shortest period of use before falling apart; less than five minutes.

***DO NOT BUY THIS*** As others have said the metal retaining ring holding the reel to the handle broke a lot afterwards use little. I was only 1/10th of the job putting tape on the roof of my van when the reel broke the handle and fell to the ground. I managed to finish the job by making a conscious effort to roll in a direction that kept the roll from coming loose, but I still did 6 or 7 flights of stairs up and down to pick up the roll after it fell and rolled down the stairs.
