🍽️ ZYLISS Electronic Can Opener: The Ultimate Gray/White Kitchen Gadget! Review

I had this can opener for many years and it worked great until it died. So I went to have it replaced, not even realizing I was going to end up using so many useless can openers (with good reviews). I'm happy to report that THIS out of the 10 or so I've tried really works. I really wish it would stop automatically when it's done because I'm used to the feature, but other than that I'm very glad I finally have a small automatic can opener that actually works.

I am so impressed with this can opener. . . It's very easy to use. . . The on/off switch is easy to press. . . Read the instructions once and you're good. . . After he finishes cutting, open the jar, press the button and let it close before removing the opener from the jar. . . . I want to buy one of these for everyone in my family. . . No muscle or elbow lubrication required. . . Containers don't move at all. . . The opener runs around the bank like a robot! . . You will love it!

Advantages: It has a built-in blade rotation timer, which gives you enough time to open even the largest jars! I've had many electric can openers and none of them lived to see their first birthday. They either took forever to open the can or they just didn't work after a few weeks. Enter Zyliss. This is a fairly lightweight device, but it feels solidly built when it comes to how it covers the cutter on the can. A second press of the button to stop the opener doesn't make much of a difference. I complain that it *barely* has enough power to open a medium can. In our first cut it stopped after 1/2 inch.
