Square/Apple/Updates/Nope

after 6 months of great work it no longer connects to our iPad. A Square spokesman said this was due to recent updates from Apple. It is no longer on the list of Square compatible devices. It would be nice if you were informed instead of being turned off at 5am on Friday. I can't reach Star Micronics to find out why.
