Overall very happy with them. Easy to use and set up, nothing fancy. When folded they look good when not in use. The hinge mechanism appears to be quite reliable. Love the extra paddle holder straps, they were big enough to hold 2 paddles. I have a small problem: I wish the clip that attaches it to the roof rack bar was wider or I used 2 clips instead of 1. The clips themselves work best with a round roof rack. I have a wide oval wand and they still work well, but it's a bit difficult for us to get them not to be crooked. It took a little patience, but the end result looks amazing. I liked it so much that I bought a second one for the other side. For installation reference, 2 of these are perfect for Hyundai Santa Fe 01 without getting in each other's way vertically or protruding too far when folded. I'm looking forward to kayaking in the summer.
