Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 205/55 R16 94T winter by Agata Olszewska ᠌

Just a terrible product, very upset.

Michelin X-ICE North 4 285/45/22 were bought for 135 thousand. I didn’t even drive for 2 months, when one tire shattered into the trash while driving straight on asphalt - there were no holes, no fittings, no objects on the road. Thanks for being alive. I bought it in Kolesity, Hong Kong (I do not recommend contacting, there is a review on Flamp). Having called Michelin about this, the operator girl said something in a formulaic language, after which I wrote a letter to the company and waited for a written response on this situation by e-mail (Ticket # 10275768). All the same, Michelin has a 5-year warranty, after all, according to their own statements. In fact, it turned out that if you paid the bill by bank transfer due to the many amenities, you will not have a guarantee, with which Michelin successfully sent me. The funny thing is that neither Kolesity nor the Michelin website wrote about this - only after the incident, in the letter they already give a link to this kind of site (approximately) "aSd23r. AsfGsderg. Com/sdqwe/lsdfh. Pdf", where on An 8 page PDF document sets out the terms of their warranty. Bravo, Michelin! The damage amounted to 34 thousand. I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to use the products of this company if you do not want to get the same problems, and in the worst case, even suffer yourself in the event of an accident due to the quality of this "product", the sidewall of which, figuratively speaking, is as thick as a candy wrapper.

Pros
  • Soft, quiet.
Cons
  • Explode. Driving characteristics at the level of "acceptable", I expected more. They seem to slow down, but they slide. They seem to be rowing in the snow, but they blow it off the road. And the biggest negative is the attitude towards Michelin customers. And it's one of the most expensive tires on the market from a supposedly prestigious company.

For two winters or 15,000 km. All spikes are in place.
