Replacing the grain is not easy, despite the description.
It worked great as an abrasive. I've looked through a lot of material, but it's almost invisible on disk. However, when I wanted to change the grit, no matter how careful I was, the disc broke when I carefully tried to remove it. They lack a coherent structural layer to allow for peeling and grain changes, despite what the description says. Maybe I'll try a heat gun next time to see if it gets any better. But now I have to scrape the residue off the mounting plate and I spend that time doing other tasks.
