Adaptation for Central Machinery 10 " Drill
Purchased to replace a lost chuck key on a Harbor Freight Central Machinery 10" drill (difficult or impossible to find a suitable chuck key to find). The largest "chuck wrench" in this set works if you grind the shaft to fit the chuck bore (I first used a hand file and then a centrifugal brush to smooth the shaft). Then shorten the shaft with a double grinder. Now it fits the drill satisfactorily. Harbor Freight, at least in my area, doesn't sell an actual chuck wrench for this press, but it was an inexpensive DIY option.
