As a leatherworking enthusiast, I often have to pinch my pieces until the glue dries. I needed small but strong clamps and these clamps seem to work great. They are surprisingly strong for their size. Overall length is 3 3/4" although the description says 3 1/2". The width of the clamp is no more than 1 1/2 inches. I'm a bit concerned about the orange swivel tips so I gave this one 4 stars instead of 5. It doesn't bother me much because I don't really need the twist tips and I can always glue them on if needed, but for carpenters or anyone who needs to twist the grommets this can be a problem as they come loose fairly easily. The Wolfcraft clamps are about the same size as these clamps and the swivel lugs on these clamps are more secure than these clamps. Otherwise these clamps are perfect for my purposes. The size and strength of the clamp more than make up for the free swivel lugs for my use.
