Review on 🔒 Enhance Security with AP Products 013-509 Electric Travel Trailer Lock by Dan Weeman

I bought this item new. Not only did it not come in the original packaging, but the original small blister that came with it was cracked and full of holes. The lock itself had at least one broken wire, an extended contact strip, dirt/fingerprints and many scratches on the inside of the paint. I will definitely be returning this item! I would give zero stars for a waste of time. Update 8/30/2018 Received my exchange and it came brand new in original packaging. Installation was a breeze and took about 10 minutes to pull out the old one and replace it with the new one. Follow the code reset instructions. It has never lasted so needed factory resets. Since it came from the factory and I didn't have to fiddle with keys anymore, I'd give it 3 stars. It would be 5 stars if I could reset it to use the personal code. Updated 10/19/2018. Couldn't get it to accept any code other than the factory default after 3 more tries. Now the code buttons do not work when the device is exposed to the sun (heat) from morning to late evening; usually only works when the sun goes down. Maybe look elsewhere. Back to a star.
