Review on Neodymium Magnets with Countersunk Design: A Powerful Addition to Your Workplace by Dave Rasic

Good Price Durable Shell Magnet

These are well made rare earth magnets that are quite strong considering their size. When advertised as a 95 lb magnet, that means the magnet can hold up to 95 lbs when placed vertically. If you put it on the side of the fridge with enough weight (not about 95 pounds) it will slide down. However, if you try to pull the magnet straight out, it becomes difficult. I've used them along with large binding clips and pocket screws to support the target's cardboard backing during my trips to the shooting range. Ordinary ones from a large store nearby (no, it's not blue) either slipped off or were blown away by a light breeze. These magnets fixed it! I like the hidden holes in the magnets. I installed them on the side of the storage closet and used countersunk holes to secure them. This gives me a clean, flat magnetic surface to store steel rulers and various tools.

Pros
  • SMALL SIZE WITH POWERFUL MAGNETIC FORCE - Each neodymium magnet can withstand a vertical pull force of 95 pounds from the magnetic surface when it comes in flush contact with a mild steel surface.
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
