Finally an RV surge protector that actually works as advertised. It worked as expected, at least for the start of the 28-night trip. However, I must add that the device has been used in high quality motorhomes with no visual inconsistencies related to utilities. It rained for ten nights and I used to cover the device with a plastic bag to protect it from moisture. After all, the previous and similar device I used, made by Camco, was not waterproof and lasted a total of ten days. A few nights and even during the day, unexpected rain flooded this unit with no visible ill effect. For each connection, the device will show a clear power flow status according to the instructions in the manual, and then click to turn off the power to the RV. The app was easy to download and use. I was able to test the performance from many kilometers away. The device did not cause any false alarms.
