This really is the best gaming monitor you can buy. 27 @ 2560 x 1440 G-sync, 1ms response time @ 144-165Hz with DisplayPort. This is a TN technology panel, not IPS. IPS is more visible at side angles but has a 4ms response time, which is only 1ms. No problem to see everything. I agree. I don't use the monitor's built-in speakers as I have Bose speakers or a Sennheiser GAME ONE gaming headset to play with. The quality of this monitor is excellent and really the best for gaming. The solid, durable stand raises, lowers, tilts and you can also rotate the monitor vertically (make sure you have a long enough monitor cable for this). This is very good packaging for transportation. You also get a 3ft display cable, 3ft HDMI cable, and 3ft USB 3 cable, as well as a dedicated Predator support number should you need one. It also comes with two USB 3 ports on the left side of the panel. Nice. Be sure to read the instructions for proper setup. There are numerous guides on the web for setting up and enabling G-Sync through the Nvidia Control Panel. Be sure to use a display cable to get 144+Hz etc. This monitor is in fact 10x better than my previous monitor from a well known and respected brand which was also 27 at 1920 x 1080 with a 5ms response time at 60Hz. . I never thought this monitor would make such a big difference in terms of speed, visual detail and no tearing or ghosting when gaming. Everything is so smooth with G-Sync technology at 144 Hz. This made all my games look better than ever. Simply amazing and outperforms my other monitor in every way. I'm still shocked at how much of a difference this monitor really makes. I never thought it would have such a big impact on me, but it made me smile a lot. I read some reviews that didn't approve of this monitor or had some issues. I'm not sure what exactly they were talking about this XB271HU Abmiprz monitor. I was a bit worried but someone I know actually recommended this monitor and advised me not to make a mistake and buy this monitor if I'm using an Invidia graphics card for gaming or even heavy video etc. I've looked at other brands as well, but I'm so glad I followed friends' advice. I can tell you this is an Acer Predator. Yes, I would buy another one without hesitation. If you are looking for the best gaming monitor, the Acer 27-inch Predator MODEL: XB271HU Abmiprz is for you.
