I'll start with the many things this monitor has to offer: amazing color accuracy and HDR for gaming. not the highest specs you typically see on creative panels, but still very sharp 4k and a high refresh rate of up to 1000! This is a great monitor and amazing value for money. The only problem I had was that one day I got absolutely no photo of it. I fixed an issue and to fix it I had to unplug and plug the monitor power cord back in. After that everything worked fine. It doesn't have a FALD (full local dimming), HDR1000 or true GYSYNC module, and the 144Hz mode can be difficult to find and disable some features. I'm amazed at how good this monitor is. I was using a 4K60 monitor that had frame drops in most games and I "just lived with it" thinking my GTX1080 was just struggling to keep up. I picked this up on a better day to pass my old macmini monitor on to my son and damn I'm glad I did. I get a much better 4K picture in almost every game. I know this monitor is HDR400 only with no local dimming, but that should be an advantage as the 8/16 zone dimming is terrible and you might not want that. The best option for HDR is OLED (if you don't care about OLED pixel burn-in) and I'm looking forward to microLED (I have to say it's the future that offers all the advantages of OLED without burn-in problems), but I need it a 4K monitor right away, so that's the one I choose.
