As a teacher and a first-time mother, I really like this shelf! I ordered it for my parents house because of the book presentation, color and storage boxes. Didn't expect it to fit a bunch of books because I read the previous reviews first and it holds about 20 books, could probably hold more if they were layered. I put many large books in one of the storage baskets and toys, memory cards, etc. in the others. It took my husband about 40 minutes to assemble so it wasn't difficult.
- HIGH QUALITY WOOD BOARDS: Wooden planks are made of solid MDF with thicker planks for durability. The corners are rounded for safety. All materials are tested by CPSIA so they contain no harmful chemicals and are safe for children.
