Excellent for a backup light

I purchased these light strips to use in the bed of my pickup, but repurposed one as a backup light. A friend's place is pitch black at night and I have trouble seeing when backing up (camper shell gives me a view through three layers of tinted glass). The truck's OEM backup lights aren't enough with the backup camera. However, with this strip installed and tied into the OEM backup light wiring, it's perfect. Plenty of light to see by.

I purchased a used set so I knew there would be some wear. At first i had to figure figure out all the wiring. (There weren''t any instructions in the box) Also, the power botton did not work. I made sure to back track all of the wiring in still no power. I took the power botton out and the lights work just fine. I installed the lights on my boat so i wiring them to the switch panel i already have making the nonworking power botton not an issue. Over all i really like the lights. They light up the whole boat!
