This is an amazing blade that cuts through wood like butter leaving a very smooth finish with no splinters. This is the first blade I've invested in and it was worth every penny. Pros: Smooth, smooth, smooth cut Leaves no splinters Cons: The price seems high, but it doesn't take into account what you're getting Purchasing this blade made me a little selfish, I don't like letting it borrow. Disclaimer: I am not a carpenter or builder, quite the opposite. I'm just a guy who likes to do things on my own around the house and buying this blade gets me there. Caveat: You might be looking for something that can be cut with this blade, something you probably don't even need to cut.
