Smooth and clean cut

This blade gives a very smooth and clean cut. To be honest, even my 50 tooth Diablo combo blade cuts clean and smooth, but this 80 tooth blade makes a better side cut. I switched to using these Diablo thin-kerf blades on my Jet Pro Shop table saw a few years ago and have never looked back. Trust me I have tried many blades and Diablo blades offer the best cut at the best price.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

Not as clean a cut as Makita, but more reliable

Compare this head-to-head with Makita's 10-inch A-94770 80-tooth fine-cutting blade. I bought and returned 2 Makitas and didn't want them. Perfect, clean 5-star cuts, regardless of whether they are cut from above or below the workpiece, and run quietly. However, both Makita blades were slightly deformed and wobbled, affecting cutting accuracy. Slim kerf, but the swing beats it. I hate returning Makita. I bought this Diablo 10 inch with 80 teeth. Cuts clean (not as clean as this Makita), not asโ€ฆ

Very glad I bought it

I'd like to start by saying it has had limited use so far but so far I'm very glad I bought it. I haven't put much hardwood against it yet. I am currently using it to cut a lot of PVC trim material for finishing pieces on my porch. I cut, trim the "plate stock" and take gauge blocks on 3/8" sheet stock (I make some parts with raised plates). It cuts clean, smooth and runs smooth and quiet. Nothing surprising. My neighbor cuts a lot and uses Diablo Blades It was about $6 less than the local oneโ€ฆ

Cuts MDF like butter

This 80 tooth knife cuts straight and precise. I often use MDF for hobby use, and I was amazed that I could barely hear the blade cutting through a 1/2" work piece and the resulting fresh edges were superior to the factory edges. has the disadvantage that a high ATB (variable bevel) leaves a small dot protruding from the center of the kerf, which isn't a problem for through cuts, but does significantly affect the aesthetics of fine joinery such as tenons or half circles. I guess I need aโ€ฆ

  • Nothing here

Wouldn't, but again. The saw blade broke and destroyed the miter saw.

I got this not long ago, installed it on my miter saw to do small projects like cutting segments for turning wood on my lathe. I managed to cut 3 pieces of walnut 3/4"X2" and the fourth piece just fell apart, pulling the wood through the slot on the saw and ruining my saw as you can see in the picture. I have no idea why, but if you look at the photos of the blade you'll see that some of the carbide tips have disappeared. I found one of the blades just lying on the table and it literally looked

  • Almost never

Don't let the price put you off, follow the reviews

The canvas was bought for decoration around the house. As a result, we made the finishing, built a staircase for the terrace, built a coffee table, made several shelves. Do you understand. This is an amazing blade that cuts through wood like butter leaving a very smooth finish with no splinters. This is the first blade I've invested in and it was worth every penny. Pros: Smooth, smooth, smooth cut Leaves no splinters Cons: The price seems high, but it doesn't take into account what you'reโ€ฆ

Exceptionally smooth cutting blade

Diablo 10" 80 tooth blade - great blade; I bought this for my Craftman radial saw to make splinter-free cuts in 3/4" thick oak. I've made faceted end tables that require both bevel and bevel cuts, and other "good" saws live up to my expectations not met; This Freud blade is beautiful! The cuts are brilliantly smooth with minimal chipping if any. I saw an ad for 90 tooth discs in one of my woodworking magazines but everyone else ordered them and were out of stock , so I ordered 80 teeth and I'mโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Legacy model

Turns a crappy saw into something useful.

This blade transformed Harbor Freight's crappy 10" miter saw into something useful that cuts well. My only wish is to ditch the standard blade once I get my saw together and put this thing on. I tested it with 1" maple leaf, 3/4" walnut, 2" thick red oak and it worked great leaving a nice smooth (albeit slightly reddened, due to pain in the first few cuts) edge with no gaps The Harbor Freight saw is crap but for now it fits my budget until I can upgrade in the future It's not very strong butโ€ฆ

Pros

Cons
  • It has its downsides
