This is the second car I've installed a DB starter in. Perfect fit every time. But what was Ford thinking when making the placement decision? It would be a bit more difficult to just pull the engine out to install this starter. Before you begin, you should pull out all your different extensions, wobbles, flexes, and any other jigs you have, then experiment with the best combination to see what works for you. Three bolt starter. One of them removes and replaces the blinds. Not only blind, but also oblique. Not only blindly and obliquely, but also from afar. Not just blind, at an angle, and from afar, but in very, very tight workspaces. Expect maybe a quarter turn of the ratchet, expect less. You can't put your head on the bolt with one hand and turn the ratchet with the other. It's also not a direct shot. It wobbles near an outlet. Wrap the tape around the wobbly bolt so that it approaches the bolt at least slightly straight. patience and determination. And knowing what to expect. Or you can just decide to make it a two bolt starter.
