The product worked perfectly for me. I was able to tie it to my car and carry two surfboards with me, which put the car at 75mph! However, there were also some disadvantages. The product didn't come with a great installation guide so I had TERRIBLE road noise the first time I installed it. I've found that if you twist the belt a little, they dodge the wind better and don't add much resonant rumble while riding. The finishing of the straps on the two pillows was a bit uneven - the straps on one of the two pillows were oddly different lengths. One of the straps, pulled to the car with no board attached, had a buckle right in the door opening where it could be scratched. I added an extra knot to this strap to shorten it from the doorway. It worked well. All in all it was a great budget option that served me well during my 2 week vacation.
