Also get some crimping pliers, it's worth it

I used one of these to attach the LED strip to the front bumper. You really need the right crimping tool, but if you do it right, you only have to do it once. I also recommend soldering the connection after crimping. Then you have a good, tight and watertight connection. The vice grips were only used to hold the terminal while soldering.
