These connectors are terrible. First, DO NOT add small pieces of plastic to keep the pins centered, making the game a guessing game as to whether or not they actually sit. I used one of these to attach the LED strip to the front bumper. You really need the right crimping tool, but if you do it right, you only have to do it once. I also recommend soldering the connection after crimping. Then you have a good, tight and watertight connection. The vice grips were only used to hold the terminal while soldering.

These picks work great, are easy to put on and take off and appear to be waterproof. The instructions aren't the best, but with the right tool and soldering the joint, they last a long time. The price was a good deal too. You need a good crimping tool to work properly and then solder them so they always make a good connection.

It's trash. I give one star but they deserve it. They're all cheap plastic, every part of these connectors is cheap, flimsy junk. I hate to throw this product in the trash but I couldn't find anything good about these connectors. I'm glad I only bought one order before buying the 1, 3 and quad versions. I will go with another brand.

Relatively poor quality plastic. The main issue is the locking tab that holds the two pieces together. The rubber seal is so tight that it's difficult to take them apart, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you want them to be waterproof. However, as soon as you lift the locking tab, it breaks. I've spent several hours using these connectors. In the end they refused and returned the money. The inner pins have too much play and aren't aligned to meet the other side of the connector because the pins can move in the holes. The pins are also so thin that they often broke when the wire was crimped. I found them to be comparable to actual Packard Electric/Delphi connectors used in the past. Use requires an understanding of how to properly crimp the pins and assemble them into the appropriate housing. Socket pins fit into plug housing and vice versa (see photo). I have used these connectors on BMW bikes and some cars. They work great, but buy a crimping tool with a contact holder to align the contacts properly while crimping the wire and insulator gasket. Alignment is critical to properly orienting the connector as it is inserted into the holder. Using regular pliers sucks, don't do it.
