I have used these connectors on BMW bikes and some cars. They work great, but buy a crimping tool with a contact holder to align the contacts properly while crimping the wire and insulator gasket. Alignment is critical to properly orienting the connector as it is inserted into the holder. Using regular pliers sucks, don't do it. Use the right crimping tool and your work will look professional, if not better. You can also buy terminals and terminal blocks separately, just search for them. I have blocks of different sizes and several terminals for different gauges of wire. Then choose what you need for the job and don't worry about having enough terminals. Yes, sometimes I need to adjust two connectors, usually I work with the pin side to connect them together, but after that the pins "shrink" better and after that they connect easily. Remember that this type of plug is NOT waterproof, only moisture resistant, so do not buy it for diving plugs. I used these connectors to replace an old quick connector that appeared to be causing problems with the engine's ignition system. They did their job and gave excellent communication. The old plugs were similar but shorter and not waterproof so I assume the new plug will last for decades.
