took my old NVMe SSD (boot device) out of the desktop and put the new SSD in there, plugged the old one into the USB port and the desktop booted up like nothing wrong and from there I could copy to a new one. Big! Comes with a small torx screwdriver for the two screws it has. Simple design, easy to assemble.
