It worked in an installation but the feel was weak and too flexible. The pawls are a nice size and tighten easily, but there are no stops to prevent the pawls from returning into the working hole before they are tightened. Not too bad as I could still stretch out and hold the pawls until they started grabbing the drywall, but it was definitely a little more fiddly to install around the pre-stretched wires. Very long screws and stops for thick walls (plaster I guess), but just too long for standard 1/2" drywall, and they tend to get in the way when working from the back (in the attic). Individually wrapped with instructions, seems like too much Not the worst, but not the best either.
