Review on ☕ Breville Barista Pro Espresso Machine - BES878BSS - Brushed Stainless Steel by Beth Pujol

I watched at least two demos of this machine before buying it and read other negative reviews. I had great experiences with my previous Breville semi-automatic espresso machine for 8 years, so I already knew the Breville quality. I wasn't sure I wanted a digital LCD instead of analog on my old machine. I also knew how messy the drip tray can be with coffee grounds residue if you don't keep it clean regularly, so I wasn't embarrassed by the comments on the same issue and later on combining the coffee grinder. This machine is very easy to clean, so I rinse the drip tray out daily; voila, no mess! The filter basket is very tight, so small cutouts on the edges make it easy to separate for cleaning. I have to say that after more than a month with this machine I am absolutely delighted! I particularly like the slightly higher steam pressure for texturing my latte milk. This makes it a lot quicker and easier, but it will blow the milk out of your frothing cup if you carelessly position the frother! takes up less counter space than standalone units. The grinder does a great job of grinding just the right amount and grind size for a consistently good extraction! I look forward to many years of great espresso and lattes and to practicing my latte art with this new machine.
