I bought this product for my shrimp tank because it does not contain copper, phosphorous or nitrogen. Yes I have read some of the reviews and would like to start by mentioning water in the comments on the bottle which made me skeptical about purchasing. Well I decided to give it a try after weighing the pros and cons. And unfortunately what I got looked exactly like water. Odorless and colorless, just a liquid "apparently" resembling water. I have to say that in over 20 years I have never seen a fully transparent firth, so I thought exactly the same as everyone else. that it was only water. So I decided to contact Brightwell and was surprised to learn that the liquid SHOULD have a slight green tint. They sent me a new bottle and the liquid in it was exactly as he described. He was very polite in his response and seemed genuinely concerned that people were getting something that wasn't quite right. He did everything right and sent me a new bottle as soon as possible. So if anyone is concerned about this issue I suggest contacting Brightwell. They were honest and open, which means a lot these days.
