I was actually impressed. You are currently connected to Google Home. Only 4 out of 5 because you can't plug it into a surge protector, it has to be an outlet. Amazingly easy setup - plug in and download the app. Follow the semi-secure instructions and wa-la. You hear a loud click from the socket. After setting up an account, you can connect to Alexa or Google. I've had to play around with the time duration and on-time settings - I want it to have time, say from 9pm daily to 4am or so, but you can set it to x-time duration as a countdown clock, or just anytime to make it work. They only connected after 24 hours but the app works fine, the connection was good and it seems to have moved to Google Home. If there is a change sick update but for now I say get it!
