Review on 🔍 LP-560 Logic Probe: Elenco Electronics' Top Electronic Testing Tool by Rick Rogers

I got my first computer in 1980 and built a homemade logic probe which I used until recently. I started building homemade and complete computers (like 6502s and other vintage microprocessors) and found myself looking at logic probes as an alternative to lugging around an oscilloscope. This works great and I'm glad I bought it. I thought the "sound" feature would drive me nuts and expected it to either mute it or turn it off, but it actually makes it easier to focus on pointing the probe at the correct pin instead of which to look at LEDs. All in all, this allows for quick and easy troubleshooting of basic problems (is power where it should be, clock jitters, address or data pins stuck high or low, etc.). Would definitely recommend and now we'll see if this one lasts four decades like my original homemade.
