Review on General Cable 00772 63 17 Appliance 3 Conductor by Jeff Davidson

Purchased as a result of a quick search thinking I would extend the washing machine cord but in my opinion I could cut it and replace the entire cord coming out of the washing machine. It's also noticed that the washing machine fork was bent into regular straight blades. It turns out that 20A 120V is a straight blade and a perpendicular blade. I replaced my jack with this jack and could probably use it to extend the cable, but I cut the end off and replaced the entire cable to add some length and reduce loss from the extension. Cable and socket no longer get hot. It works great. You can use the updated image to show the plug and socket so people aren't surprised it's not a regular plug type. However, the gauge and sleeve are great for anything that draws current from 15A to 20A.
