Need a whetstone to round the edges before sharpening the chains

This stone comes with 90 degree edges. You will go through several chains and get the edge of the chain to 90 degrees before the wheel becomes almost round. I had to put mine on a grinding wheel to get it closer. After that it works great. The fact that nothing is said about it which is why I only gave it a 3. Now that it's cracked it works like a charm. So either get a shaped stone to keep your first few chains, or save an old worn one to start that stone. I found that unfortunately no one makes pre-rounded stones. The edge you get on your chain by repurposing this stone without shaping it is a functional design but very aggressive and tarnishes quickly. This type of edge is for professionals. Most people need a round cut. I use my saw quite a bit and have more knowledge than the average bear and I still prefer the round saw blade. 90 degrees is too jerky and dulls quickly.
