This stuff works great. Shortly after we bought it, someone tried to get into our new car through the sunroof and bent the frame of the sunroof. This caused the glass back to not close properly and water to leak from the washer system, which is why we found the sunroof not closing properly. After the insurance adjuster and dealer assessed the damage, the service manager told me to use duct tape to keep the water out until the replacement parts arrived. But I wouldn't drive a black car with blue tape on the roof. That's why I ordered this tape. Installation took about 5 minutes. The beauty is that it leaves no residue and does not require respirators or gloves. Bypasses the rounded corners of the manhole edge for a customized seal. In addition, it matches the black seal around the jar. So nobody noticed that it was sealed with this tape. The first test of the waterproofness of this product took place just a few hours ago when it started to rain. I'm happy to report that the interior of our Cadillac is bone dry. I highly recommend this product.
