I previously read through the reviews for this item and another item that was similar, same color, came with more keys, features, and was only $5 more expensive. That particular item had some reviews about the fire and smoke due to the charging set up and the batteries. So, to stay on the safe side, I chose this item.First, my daughter wanted some keyboard in pink color and had something to do with a princess. Those were the key decision points. There are not many alternatives in pink color, other than the previously mentioned bigger one that has smoke-fire problem. I knew this item sounded like a toy, came with tiny keys, and was actually a toy.Pros:* It is cheap. If your kid grows tired of it, then you save the money that you would have spent on a instrument quality item.* Some reviews stated it had one speaker working. Actually both speakers are working with the one I got.* It has a built in battery, thus your kid can carry it around* It is very small and lightweight. So it is not a problem for a 6 yrs old to move it around.* It has a small detachable microphoneCons:* It is a toy (what should you expect)* Built in batteries give me the creeps as they may catch fire or smoke. Just in case, we charge it on granite counter-top.* Keys are super tiny. As the father, I cannot play something for my daughter. I used to play a large size keyboard with full size keys (yamaha psr 4500) when i was 11 years old.* Microphone and charging cable are toy quality, doesn't look quite durable.* When switched on, the sound setting defaults to MAX. That is too loud.All in all, you get your money's worth. I hope it lasts 2 months and some more. It is something you can use to keep the kids busy during the covid-19 school break and see if they have interest in music without investing in something expensive
