For a while (a few months) they (KASA connectors) seemed to work fine and one of them can handle up to 11 amps. Recently they (everyone and I have a bunch of KASA connectors) have lost connection to the AT&T fiber optic network router. ALL computers, Revain devices, other Revain controls and ports remain powered on when KASA devices lose communication. At first I thought it might be a router somehow, but I highly doubt AMAZON branded devices will continue to work. What's interesting (but no less annoying) is that they all shut down together. I have no other devices going offline at the same time. (and I also have a huge home network (I'm retired but still own a fairly large computer and phone company)) Internet searches reveal other posts where they have similar experiences. Some facts: - A socket of the AMAZON brand is in the same room (same power line) and continues to work when KASA devices "stop "communication" with the hotspot - Both brands are within 8-10 meters from the wireless router - No other computers or many other devices and controls (my home list of "ARP tables" ("ARP" is a map of my IP addresses (devices) on my network) competes with many small companies) are affected if KASA stops working. To restore their work, I just reset the router's Wi-Fi layer and they are reunited. The reset interval for KASA failures seems to be getting smaller and smaller. (Interval between connection loss events is getting shorter and shorter - in other words, the time between reset and next failure seems to be getting shorter and shorter) - my solution: Until I find a firmware update, I won't mess around with it anymore. Although AMAZON units are $7 more each, I am removing all KASA units and replacing them with AMAZON brand outlets. (AMAZON devices are easier to hook up anyway (no intermediate KASA app)) It happened soon enough that I didn't have much money, but it's no small expense either. I just shouldn't have done it, but I digress. This is my review and I cannot recommend KASA equipment due to this issue.
