My wife occasionally likes to use a hot water bottle. We havent been able to find one locally, so she would make her own from whatever empty bottles she had at home. Unfortunately some of her attempts led to minor burns, irrigations and spilled water. I poured scalding water in this bottle and attached the lid. Within 30 seconds or so, I could feel the heat coming through mildly but steadily. I did not know how much heat was 'enough' because I do not use water bottles often. But my wife suggested this bottle was perfect in the amount of heat it let out and for the duration of the heat. We like the little sweater that covers the bottle and adds a comfort layer to anyone who lays down with them. The bottle does not seam to leak and is ribbed so it does not slip. It is currently a good value, especially at the sales price.
